Creating Data Objects, Fields & Records
Creating an object
- Go to Settings โ Data.
- Click New Object, give it a name (e.g., "Application") and a slug (e.g., "application").
- Save. The object appears in the sidebar.
Adding fields
With the object selected, click Add Field. Pick a type, set the label and key, mark it required if needed. Reorder fields by dragging. Fields can be added, renamed, or removed at any time, existing records are updated to match.
- text, number, date, boolean, select: same semantics as CRM fields.
- reference: points to another record (a contact, a deal, or a record of another custom object).
Creating records
Go to Business โ Data โ your object. Click New Record, fill in the fields, save. Records also appear in a table you can search, filter, and edit inline.
AI Agent access
Once an object exists, the AI Agent can read and update its records via the Query CRM ability, "find the most recent Application with status = new" or "update Application ABC to status = reviewed".
