AI Agent Configuration Summary
Purpose
The AI Agent is a conversational node designed to autonomously handle multi-turn customer interactions. It can:
- Run multi-step conversations
- Collect and store customer information (e.g., name, email, preferences)
- Answer questions using your Knowledge Base
- Schedule and manage meetings via Google Calendar
- Create and update CRM contacts and deals
The agent decides what to do at each step based on your configuration and the customer’s messages.
Key Configuration Areas
1. System Prompt
Defines the agent’s personality, behavior, and primary goal. Use it to specify:
- Role/persona (e.g., "You are a sales assistant helping book demos")
- Primary optimization goal (e.g., maximize demo bookings, resolve support issues)
- Constraints and rules (e.g., never promise discounts, always confirm email before booking)
Best practice: Keep each workflow focused on one clear goal. If you have multiple goals (e.g., sales vs. support), create separate workflows with different system prompts.
