AI Agent Abilities

Abilities are actions the AI Agent is allowed to take during a conversation. You enable them per node in the AI Agent configuration.

CRM abilities

  • Lookup Contact, search your CRM by email, phone, or name.
  • Add Contact, create or update a contact. Only fills empty fields, so you never lose data.
  • Query CRM, ask the CRM for contacts, companies, or deals that match a condition.
  • Create Deal / Update Deal / Move Deal Stage, the agent can manage the sales pipeline from the conversation.

Calendar abilities

  • Check Availability, find free slots on the connected calendar.
  • Schedule Event, book a meeting.
  • Edit Event, change an existing meeting.
  • Cancel Event, cancel a meeting.

Content abilities

  • Knowledge Lookup, search your knowledge base to answer product or policy questions with citations.
  • Collect Field, ask a structured question ("what is your budget?") and extract a typed answer.
  • Send Email, draft and send an email.

Follow-ups

  • Schedule Followup, plan a follow-up message for a later time.
  • Cancel Followup, cancel a scheduled follow-up.

Guardrails

Each ability is opt-in per node. The agent only acts within the abilities you enable, so a customer-facing bot can read the CRM without being able to delete records.
